Description

Built with maritime dark humor, retro coastal artwork, and unmistakable Dead Reckoning attitude, the Cocaine Shark Everyday Cap is made for those who appreciate bold graphics and designs with a story behind them.

This light gray cap features the Cocaine Shark artwork centered on the front. The design shows a wild-eyed shark looming over an interdiction-style boat, framed by a coral-red sun, curling smoke, ocean waves, a red targeting reticle, and the design’s signature thick black circular border.

The neutral cap color keeps the artwork versatile while allowing the muted blue, coral, tan, red, and black tones to stand out. Its curved bill and adjustable fit make it easy to wear for boating, fishing, beach days, coastal events, travel, and everyday use.

Printed using DTF transfer printing, the front graphic delivers crisp detail, strong color, and lasting contrast while remaining true to the original artwork.

Graphic appearance and placement may vary slightly due to the DTF process and individual cap construction.

Story Behind the Design

Cocaine Shark began as a unit joke inspired by maritime counter-narcotics operations and the fast-moving smuggling vessels used to transport illicit cargo through the Caribbean and eastern Pacific. The shark was imagined as completely unhinged—wild-eyed, grinning, and chasing its next target with the same chaotic energy as the drug boats appearing in operational conversations and news reports. The interdiction-style vessel and targeting reticle connect the artwork to the pursuit of narcotics smugglers at sea, while the exaggerated shark turns that serious subject into dark, absurd humor. The coral sun, rolling water, and thick black circle give the design its retro maritime character and keep it rooted in Dead Reckoning Apparel’s graphic style. What started as a joke became even stranger when reports began circulating about cocaine and other drugs being detected in marine life and coastal waters. Cocaine Shark is not a celebration of drug use. It is a satirical design shaped by operational humor, maritime culture, and the bizarre reality that sometimes truth becomes almost as ridiculous as the artwork.
