Description

Built around local history, coastal identity, and the places that shape a community, the Surf City OG Everyday Cap is made for those who know Surf City as more than just a beach destination.

This light gray cap features the Surf City OG artwork centered on the front. The circular design combines the words “Surf City North Carolina” with a pirate flag, surfboard, waves, and the town’s iconic swing bridge.

The neutral cap color keeps the design easy to wear while allowing the muted black, gray, red, and coastal tones of the artwork to stand out. Its curved bill and adjustable fit make it a versatile option for beach days, surf checks, boating, travel, local events, and everyday wear.

Printed using DTF transfer printing, the front graphic delivers clear detail and durable color while remaining true to the original artwork.

Graphic appearance and placement may vary slightly due to the DTF process and individual cap construction.

Story Behind the Design

Surf City OG was created as a tribute to the version of Surf City remembered by the people who lived, surfed, worked, and spent their days there before the town began to change. At the center of the design is the old swing bridge, one of Surf City’s most recognizable landmarks and a symbol of the town’s earlier identity. For years, it connected the mainland to the island and became part of the rhythm of daily life until it closed in 2018. The surfboard and waves represent the local surf culture that has always been part of Surf City, while the pirate flag adds a little Topsail-area character and Dead Reckoning attitude. Surf City OG is not about claiming ownership of a place. It is about remembering the landmarks, traditions, and small details that made the town feel like home.
